Star Blue Sapphire Men's Ring - 14K White Gold

Men’s estate star blue sapphire ring circa 1980’s in 14K white gold. This ring is set with a round cab cut star sapphire (lab created) measuring approximately 7.5 mm in diameter. Although star sapphire can be found naturally, it is very rare. Most star sapphire from this era is lab created…sometimes referred to as Linde Star. The star effect is know as asterism and is shown effectively with smooth cabochon cut stones like is in this ring. The star appears to move and shimmer depending on the angle you view from. This star sapphire is set in a well constructed classic ring for men made in 14K white gold. The ring measures approximately 10.5mm at the top and tapers to approximately 3.75mm at the bottom. I’ve carefully cleaned, polished and restored this ring to near pristine condition.
