Payment

You can pay for your order using the payment options shown in the checkout area when you order.   We now offer Sezzle as a payment option.  To use Sezzle, select that option at checkout.  

Be sure to select your location to have the prices and checkout displayed in your currency.  If you do not select your location, the display and checkout will default to either CDN or US depending on how YOU have stated your location.  

GST is collected on all orders within Canada.

Please ensure your shipping address is correct prior to ordering. Address changes are not possible so please double check to ensure your order will be shipped to your correct address or delivery location. 

 

Shipping

Processing Time:

The time I need to prepare your order for shipping varies. For specific details, refer to the individual item.

Order processing and shipping is done promptly after receiving your order and cleared payment. In stock items typically ship in 3 - 5 business days;  items requiring sizing or personalizing often require additional processing times. Made to order items may require 6 - 8 weeks processing times.  Should we not be able to process your order within the above stated times we will communicate this with you. Delivery times will vary depending on your location, the carrier and circumstances beyond our control.

You can contact me for confirmation of processing times. I do try to have all orders out and on the way to you as quickly as possible…I know you’re excited to receive your new purchase as much as I am excited for you to have it.

Estimated Shipping & Delivery Times:

Shipping costs are calculated based on your location and are displayed at checkout. Most items ship by Canada Post, however, we reserve the right to use another carrier should rates or delivery times be more beneficial to you.  Tracking numbers are provided on as many shipments as possible and will be provided to you at the time of shipping. We encourage you to refer to online tracking for the delivery status on your parcel.

PLEASE NOTE THAT OVERSIZED LETTER MAIL IS USED WITHIN CANADA FOR MOST PERSONALIZED ITEMS (ie: Pet ID Tags) AND DOES NOT HAVE A TRACKING OPTION.

Covid 19 protocol - The world is experiencing delays in delivery and this concern continues to be ongoing. As a result, we ask your patience for all deliveries as there can be delays due to the challenges being faced.

Canada Post states that delivery to Canada & US destinations takes anywhere from 1 to 4 weeks. Other international destinations have been known to take considerably longer. FedEx & DHL state that delivery to Canada & US destinations takes 1 - 3 business days. Other international destinations may take longer. 

Please be aware that delivery delays by the carrier or customs can occasionally occur which are beyond my control.

Buyers are solely responsible for any customs and import taxes and/or fees that may apply. You can find out more information by contacting the authorities in your country of residence. 

I will not falsify documents or mark orders as ‘gifts’. Thank you for understanding. 

Certain items are prohibited by customs for import to some countries - in these rare cases, I am not able to ship to you and your order will be cancelled.

 

 

Refunds and Exchanges

We make every effort to ensure your order arrives to you without defects or damage, but occasionally things can happen. If your order has arrived to you with defect or damage please contact us at sales@asecondtime.ca immediately to let us know. We are happy to help with repair or replacement depending on the situation. Each claim is handled on a case by case basis.

Your satisfaction is my goal. The majority of my work is one of a kind and is created with care and attention to detail using only the highest quality materials available. I take care to describe and photograph my items with accuracy. If you have more questions about an item please contact me…I’m happy to assist. 

IF you have ANY concerns with your purchase please contact us at sales@asecondtime.ca on receipt of your order and I will work with you to ensure you are satisfied.

Exchanges or refunds may be possible on select items providing the item has not been customized just for you, worn, altered or damaged. Prior authorization is required.

If you have ordered a ring in the wrong size, I will gladly re-size it for you at no cost other than your return shipping cost to me. Contact me for return shipping information and guidance. 

Sale and Clearance items are final sale.

I stand 100% behind all my work. I warranty my handmade items for one full year from date of receipt against any workmanship or craftsmanship concerns. Items that have been altered by another or damaged outside of normal daily wear are excluded from my warranty. Repairs on items are assessed on a piece by piece case as normal wear and tear on items is not covered by any implied warranty or guarantee.

 

Additional Policies and FAQs

Each rough diamond used in the creation of the rough diamond jewellery pieces comes from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict. My trusted supplier of these diamonds guarantees that it is conflict free and takes every reasonable measure to help prevent the sale of conflict diamonds in accordance with the Kimberley Process. Each gemstone is sourced from ethical, trusted and reliable sources.

Recycled or reclaimed metal is used where ever possible in my work.

Unlike mass produced jewellery items, slight variations are to be expected on hand made jewellery, adding to the charm, character and uniqueness of the piece. This is your assurance of handmade quality.

Please recognize that each monitor or viewing device will display colors differently. My photos, when viewed on my monitor, represent the colors of items very closely to the actual color in natural lighting. The actual color of an item when viewed in person could appear different that what you are viewing on a computer monitor. I have not attempted to enhance or alter the colors in photos; in fact, my photos are simply cropped to fit the recommended size for these listings. 

I will only use your contact information to communicate with you about your order, to fulfill your order and for legal reasons (when required by law). I will never share your information or spam you without your consent.  By using our website, you (the visitor) agree to allow third parties to process your IP address, in order to determine your location for the purpose of currency conversion. You also agree to have that currency stored in a session cookie in your browser (a temporary cookie which gets automatically removed when you close your browser). We do this in order for the selected currency to remain selected and consistent when browsing our website so that the prices can convert to your (the visitor) local currency.
