Glass Locket Raw Sapphire Pendant - Floating Gemstone Necklace

Enclosed in glass are genuine specimens of sapphire in varying tones of blue ranging from denim blue to midnight blue. This unique glass double sided pendant is framed in stainless steel and sealed to keep the free floating sapphires secure in the locket. The pendant measures approximately 4 cm in length from the top of the bail to the bottom of the pendant and approximately 3 cm in width at the widest point. The glass sided locket hangs from a 24" long chain of oxidized sterling silver. The chain closes with a lobster style clasp. This pendant is perfect for layering with others from your collection or to wear on its own.

Be aware that oxidation is naturally occurring and on this chain I have accelerated the process. Over time, with wear, the oxidation will change and enhance, becoming darker in the less worn areas and lighter in the more worn areas. The process is unique to each wearer.

This locket has been professionally sealed closed but it is NOT water resistant. Please refrain from wearing in water, baths, showers, tubs, swimming, etc. to reduce the chance of moisture entering and becoming trapped inside. This locket is made from glass components...please take care when handling!
